Original Guide and Introductory Information by Minimanta and Seasonal
The sitting cats were some of the first CS pets that were released. However, they only had an adult stage and were not growable pets. Although the sitting cat lineart is no longer used for monthly adoptables, it is sometimes used for events and special occasions!
The sitting cat lineart (also known as the "Warrior cat" lineart) was originally created by Tess in order to create adoptables based on the Warriors series by Erin Hunter. These cats do not grow and were available for many months. Due to their availability, these cats were not valuable when they were first released, but have gained popularity and rarity/demand over time.
This guide shows all of the sitting cats in chronological order and explains anything special about each release. The "official" names given to these pets by the community are displayed underneath each pet.
NB: These cats are referred to as 'Tess' cats and 'sitting' cats interchangeably, so you may see either of these terms being used regularly by users on the forum.
