Second Generation pets or "2nd Gens" as they are almost always called, are the babies of certain adoptables on the site. They will usually have certain characteristic's from both of their parents and their colourings will greatly resemble that of their parents.

That's a very good question, and one we get a lot. To easily see what pet is a "2nd Gen" and which one is not, take a look at these two pets below.

You can easily see "2nd Gen" written in red under "www.chickensmoothie.com" on the first pet :)

When you first adopt a 2nd Gen pet, they will have different coloured blankets, but the same coloured blanket will usually grow up into the same adult, though this isn't always the case :)

Every now and again, the artists or guest artists on the site will decide that they want certain pets to have some babies :). They will then colour the CS line-art and release them on the first of some months in [url=http://www.chickensmoothie.com/adoptables/second-generation%20pets]this section[/url] of the Adoptables Page. New 2nd Gen's are placed beside a picture of the parents like the image below. Those two pets are the Parents of a specific litter :).

August

These two litters were released in August of 2008. The Parents are pets that were created for the "Silent Wolf Kennels" site. Which is what Chicken Smoothie was before it became the site you know now - They were re-released in the Christmas Advent Calender in 2008 and 2009. Both litters were created by Tess.

November

A few months went past and November gave way to a Halloween-esque 2nd Gen set. This litter was bred by Tess.

The Purple Bat dog was a Halloween special in 2008 and the Green Swirl dog was an October 2008 release
