April

The items released in April were all associated with April Fool's Day. In 2017, the theme for April Fool's Day was Totoro's Takeover. This event featured Totoro, a mascot of the site, removing all the color from the site. Users could either support Totoro ion turning the site grey, or they could fight to bring the color back to CS

This pack of items was available on the dog adoption page. Each user who claimed the pack got a complete set containing one of each item.

Tess's Magic Paint Pack

This second set of items was released the day after the April Fool's Day event, which were also available from the dog adoption page. Users who claimed the gift each received three of every grey paint splatter item and one of each Totoro support sign.

In 2017, Easter Day was celebrated on April 16th. In the days preceding it, CS held an Easter Event, consisting of pets and items, both free and obtainable with tokens. This event started on April 7th on CS.

Every 20 minutes during the Easter Hunt, users were able to find a banner at the bottom of the page. When clicked, the banner would usually reward the player with one of four tokens. These tokens could then be exchanged on the Easter Event page for pets and items specially made for the event. Tokens could also be used as regular items on pets, which became their sole purpose after the event. The banner limit in 2017 was 300 banners.

Easter Token Eggs

On occasion after clicking a banner players would receive one of the following animal eggs instead of the usual token. The animal eggs could not be traded in on the event p[age and are rather considered collectible items. Their designs are based on that of previous pets, and they did count towards the player's banner limit. Not all Animal Eggs became available at the same time. Rather they were gradually introduced over the course of the event into the possible items one could get from clicking the banner.

This token item set was the only pack available on day one, released along with the first event pets of the year. Players with a sufficient amount of tokens could buy it as many times as they pleased. Each purchase came with both of the items in the set.

CS Birthday

These free items were released as a set to celebrate CS's 9th Birthday. They were released on their own event page. Users who adopted the gift were given three copies of the background item, and five copies of each foreground poppy plant. They also received a full set of coffee mugs, with one of each cup. Three copies were given of each piece of jewelry.

These decorative items were released for free to celebrate CS's birthday. Users who claim the gift would receive two of each cake base, four to five copies of each candle, two copies of the Totoro, Avian, and number "9" cake decorations, and one of each of the other cake toppers.

In 2017, Avian and Totoro took their summer vacation at a lost underwater city. Over the course of the event users were able to collect various types of tokens to trade in for pets and items. This event in particular had a wide array of tokens, and token types. The event, in addition to some item trade-in stations, also featured several free stations which had a new set of items available each day.

Every 20 minutes, users could randomly find a banner at the bottom of the page. Clicking on this banner would usually give them one of the following items. These were tokens in the Lost City summer event, and could be traded-in at various stations in the summer event map in exchange for pets, items, or other types of tokens. The Lost City Event had a final banner limit of 320. Tokens could also function as normal items, and after the even tiny remaining tokens because nothing more than regular items.

The Kelp Forest was an area on the Lost City event map that usually allowed players to collect another type of token once every hour. These tokens could then be used to trade for other event objects, or they could be kept and used as regular items, which they became after the event.

Each day of the event, users were able to get a free set of scuba gear, and a free swim suit from Avian and Totoro. The was a new version of the items everyday. The wetsuits were only available for a single day, whereas the scuba packs saw a second release later on in the event with a new version of the wetsuits

A series of armor and lance items were released over the course of the Lost City event. Most of these packs came from the Castle Storeroom, although the blue set came from the Castle Courtyard. All of them were free daily gifts, only available on the day of their initial release. Each gift came with one of each item.

This free scenery item set became available in the Photo Booth some time into the event. It provided players with one statue, two copies of each seaweed item, three or four of each background item, and four to five copies of each fish.

This free item pack was available in the Photo Booth. It gave players two copies of each background, two to five copies of each shell, two of the anchor and ship, and three shark tooth necklaces.

Shell Scenery Pack

This pack of items was also free, and was available in the Photo Booth. Three of each item in the set was given to players who claimed this gift.

Underwater Stage Pack

From the Castle Storeroom, players could often pick up a free set of Ceremonial Armor and a matching cape. These gifts were only available for one day, and were given either in sets of two, or with another free item set. The gift contained one piece of each item in the set.

Users could claim a free gift from the Stage. This gift contained two of each item in the set, and it waas available for multiple days.

Instruments

At the Fast Fins Racetrack, players could use tokens to "bet" on a racer. After a short animation played, the player would find out what "place" their racer came in, based on random chance. According to that placement, the players would receive the corresponding trophy item (along with another prize). The cost of playing was one banner token.

During the races at Fast Fins Racetrack, when a player received 2nd or 3rd place in a race, they would receive some of these fish items. 2nd place winners would get three random items, while 3rd place received only two. As part of the plot to the event, players were instructed to grab the ink jars, quills, and stationary from the Castle Storeroom. These items were free, and doing so awarded the player with four of the quills and stationary, and two copies of each ink jar. Players could then go to the Ship Wreck, as instructed by the plot, and exchange a Cute Stationary item for the Sealed Witness Statement. Cute Stationaries were consumed by this action one at a time, but this action could not be reversed. The Sealed Witness Statement could then be swapped at the Castle Storeroom for the Lost City event stamps.

Several sets of items were available at the Ship Wreck. For the price of one Kelp Forest token and two banner tokens, players would randomly receive one of these three item packs. They would receive one of each item in the given set, although a few of the items were included in multiple packs.

At the Jamboree Organizer, players were able to swap one Kelp Forest token and three Banner tokens for five Jamboree tokens. The Jamboree tokens served mostly as decorative items, but there were a few trade-ins that required them as payment. The trade in would provide the player with a given number of items from each set randomly.

Panopea's Pearl Game asked players to guess which shell hid a pearl. There were 3 options to chose from, and an equal chance of the pearl being beneath each one. If the player did not find the pearl, they were given a consolation prize consisting of one random wig and one random accessory set. It cost one Banner Token to play this game.

The Banquet Table provided players with Banquet tokens. These could be obtained by swapping in one Kelp Forest token and two Banner tokens. In return, the player would receive three random Banquet tokens. These tokens were mainly decorative, but they were required for a few other trade-ins.

Leading up to Halloween, CS held its annual Candy Hunt event on the forum. Items were given both as free gifts, and in certain trade-in boxes, for the cost of some Banner tokens. The even started on October 21st. Banner tokens could be discovered until November 1st, and the gifts and trade-in stations were left up for another three days.

Tokens played a major role in this event, since they were a currency of sorts, used to obtain the prizes from the event page. Every 20 minutes, users could search the pages of the site to find a banner which randomly appeared at the bottom of the website. By clicking the banner, players would usually receive one of these tokens. Tokens could be turned in on the event page for other pets and items, although the tokens could also be used as items themselves. Now that the event is over, they only act as regular items. The banner could be clicked a total of 300 times in this event.

They were free to adopt, and each user received one of most items, except for the gelt items, which yielded one to four copies of each. During the Advent Calendar, a new gift was available on its own event page each day, from the 1st of December to Christmas, on the 25th. Gifts were only available on that single day, before being replaced. The only exception to that was the final gift, which would remain up until January 1st. Gifts could consist of either items, or pets, and were different each day.
