Chinese New Year

To celebrate the tradition of Chinese (also known as Lunar) New Year, Chicken Smoothie released a series of pets and items to fit that year's Zodiac Animal; the dog. The gift included 1 of each character, brush, doggo, and ribbon, 2 of each lantern, a random assortment of 5 dog hoodies, and 12 random charms or origami pieces.

Halloween

Leading up to Halloween, CS held its annual Candy Hunt event on the forum. Items were given both as free gifts, and in certain trade-in boxes, for the cost of some banner tokens. October 20th marked the start of the event, and the banners continued to appear at the bottom of the site until November 2nd. The gifts and trade-in stations were left up for another three days.

Tokens played a major role in this event, since they were a currency of sorts, used to obtain the prizes from the event page. Every 20 minutes, users could search the pages of the site to find a banner which randomly appeared at the bottom of the website. By clicking the banner, players would usually receive one of these tokens. Tokens could be turned in on the event page for other pets and items, although the tokens could also be used as items themselves. Now that the event is over, they only act as regular items. The banner could be clicked a total of 300 times in this event.

This pack of free scenery items and costume pieces was released on the final day of the Halloween Event, and stayed up for an additional few days. Each user who claimed the gift received 2 of each background and banner, 10 random pumpkin torches, 4 random tent backs, and 1 copy of every other item in the set.

During the Advent Calendar, a new gift was available on its own event page each day, from the 1st of December to Christmas, on the 25th. Gifts were only available on that single day, before being replaced. The only exception to that was the final gift, which would remain up until January 1st. Gifts could consist of either items, or pets, and were different each day.

This pack of items were available as part of the final gift in the advent calendar. The pack included a complete set of the stack dolls and elf costumes, 15 random plushies, 10 random scarves, and an assortment of 27 other random toys.

Although not traditionally a holiday that Chicken Smoothie celebrates, 2018 featured a few items for Kwanzaa, released at the very end of the year.
